How to install a SCR screensaver on a computer?

How can I install the SCR screensaver flip book created by Flip Programs?

When you use Flip PDF or other programs to publish the flip book as a screensaver, you can then install it on your computer. The following steps will show you how to do this.

1. Copy the published SCR file to your system folder. This folder is in different path in different Windows systems, for example:

Windows XP/NT/2000/7/8 – C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32

Windows 95/98/ME – C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

 

Below we will take Win 7 as example:

2. Right-click on the Windows Desktop and select "Personalize", then click on "Screen Saver" at the right bottom;

 

3. In the pop-up dialog, click the option bar and choose the screensaver in the list. And you will see the screensaver in the Preview screen;

 

You can also define settings for the screensaver in the "Settings" dialog.

4. Click "Apply" then "OK" to save the settings and exit.

Note: If you want to uninstall the screensaver, you will need to go to the system folder (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM) to delete the SCR file. And if you want to change the current screensaver with another one, you can choose other installed screensaver in the list.
